I thought GG said there will be heightened police presence on the roads. Went from Santa Cruz to El Socorro, then to Diego Martin, then to Maraval and back to Santa Cruz and no sight of police and many ppl driving intoxicated that they can't stay on their side, excessive speeding etc. Just look at the number of serious accidents posted here.

Only by the QPS I see them during the week. Weekends nothing and that's when they are needed. The 50kmph has its drawbacks though.

LO's?? what a fvking joke, hell they cant even amend a chassis number at the CAroni office for 3 months now.... our vehicular department is such a waste of sh1tt1ng time... you go there and every officer has a slightly different answer to the same question, you cant get to talk to anyone senior there, yet they expect people to waste time coming there over and over again for a simple transaction..

That does happen when the road so narrow and both refuse to just slow down to pass each other. A Tiida knocked off my right side mirror cover already while i was coming to a halt for him to pass and he just gunned it hard. He drive off and gone. It was probably about a matter of less than 5 cm apart and he didn't have the patience. Seeing a lot more of these types lately eh?

too much. And these guys driving with PD* Plates its okay to drive behind a older vehicle, there's no need to overtake and pull in front to apply one set of sudden brakes. i think it's a Mental Problem.

Best service in the world with a big smile when they signing you up. Then they don't even answer your calls when you have a claim.

^^ These accidents are ridiculous now. One or both of those vehicles was/were going at some serious speed. Hope no one died.
