There was a home invasion in red hill Dabadie, 2 vehicles and other valuables were taken. The vehicles were recovered in laventille.

Apost-mortem has been ordered to confirm the cause of death of a 63-year-old man after three suspects allegedly broke into his home and assaulted him.

The deceased has been identified as Ronald Ramjag of Maracas Royal Road in St Joseph.

Around 3:20 am Wednesday morning, relatives at the Ramjag's home were awakened by loud noises and saw three people allegedly assaulting the 63-year-old.

The relatives raised an alarm and the police were notified.

The suspects left Ramjag on the ground and attempted to break into the compound above Ramjag's home to reach the other relatives, however, they were unsuccessful.

They fled the scene.

When officers arrived, Ramjag was unresponsive, and soon succumbed to his injuries.
