On Tuesday, Shakem contacted her around 2 p.m. and informed her that he was headed south. When he did not return home by 9 p.m. his father began calling his cellphone, but the calls went straight to voice mail.

A notification from his bank stated that $500 was withdrawn from an automated teller machine (ATM) at a gas station on Rushworth Street in San Fernando on Tuesday night. The GPS tracked the vehicle to Valencia, where it was found locked and abandoned.

The body of TTRS driver, 32-year-old Shakeem Charles was found in a bushy area off Sunrees Branch Road in Penal on Saturday 13th July, 2024.

Charles of Indian Walk in Moruga was reported missing on Tuesday 9th July, 2024. His vehicle was later discovered abandoned along Emon Lane in Valencia on Wednesday 10th July, 2024.
