WITNESS

Witness features 2 members of Tripped AndFalling and 3 members of Sentiments of Tishri.

Over 10 years ago I played my first show at Jenz in Carlton Centre, San Fernando with a band called Sentiments of Tishri (SOT). That night we went under the name Elul... Elul being the last month of the Hebrew Calendar and Tishri being the first. The band sounded like a mix of progressive and experimental rock. One of our songs was over 8 minutes. The band disbanded when the vocalist moved to Saudi Arabia after only playing about 4 shows but we recorded all the songs we wrote and only recently got a few mixed after all those years.

Shortly after SOT disbanded, I was asked to drum for Tripped AndFalling (TAF) and go with them to the UK for 2 years. We had some really great times and some really rough times. Among the great times were playing a date on the Taste of Chaos 2006 tour in Nottingham, having our video for "Ashes and Ember" played on Kerrang! TV and appearing in Metal Hammer Magazine in April 2007.

Chances are you've heard TAF but not SOT. If you've heard both, you know they sound nothing alike and Witness doesn't really sound like either band... so... you really need to come to the show to hear what it sounds like
