Cooper wasn't retained by RR.
Simmons is still with MI.

Daniel Vettori officially calls it day.
Leaves Chanders and Afridi as the only two cricketers from the 1990s still around now IIRC.

ICC testing not good enough, need biased results to make sure india...... I mean chennai has no serious threats from an intl player and wins comprehensively once again.

This Narine issue is becomings more and more curious.
Lets see if the Indian authorities will review their position and stick to their guns even in light of the ICC clearance as reported.
The big question could then become 'Who is really in charge of international stds and what may be the implications for cricketers participating in the IPL?'
Already it seems that the Indian Board are part owners of the WI team since arising from the last debacle settlement of claims arising would be paid for from earnings when the team plays over the forseeable future.

^ BCCI has always been more powerful than the ICC. Ever since the day they became one of the richest sporting bodies for any sport internationally they held sway.
They became even more powerful when India won the inaugural T20. That spawned the IPL which has since wreaked havoc on the Future Tours Programme and world cricket in general.
Now we have ended up in situations where in the WI, series are starting in the wet season proper and no cricket is played here when we have the best weather.

The facts suggest that this only carries you so far,but if you don't have the fundamentals right another saying kicks in....A fool an his money are soon parted.

^ Probably Sportsmax!!

In WI news the English are wrapping up the first warmup. One more warm up and then the 1st of three tests for the Wisden Trophy. I feel WI will get a 3-0 whitewash.

Sad when in the cricket season both England and Australia come to the Caribbean and Trinidad cant get a single match.
