Apart from Narine how do you really justify Bravo Pollard and Rampaul into the 11??

Taylor is bowling really good, Holder is captain, Kemar Roach couldn't even make the side till today. Rampaul displaces who??

WRT Pollard and Bravo we have Sammy and Russell in the middle order so you have to justifying dropping one or the other or both to get Bravo and Polly in.

The only real millstone on the team right now is D Smith. Simmons looks better in the middle order than opening so a replacement for Smith should open.

Alyuh fellas seem to knw how to make the wi team a winning one...for the years of following wi cricket fanatically, i think that the culture of the people if the wi is not conducive to world class cricket from our team. What is the difference between what our current team plays for compared to that the wi team of the 80s and 90s played for?

Smith and Carter would have been dropped for Pollard and Bravo IMO.
And ppl keep forgetting that aside from Russell, Pollard and Bravo are
the best fieldsmen WI have atm. WI could use some more allrounders
in the side too!

Pakistan pulling off a 20 run win over SA. Truly the most unpredictable side in cricket

I think it might go down to NRR and windies must be the other side by a huge margin.

I wouldn't even have Holder in that squad,Rampaul woda surely replace him..I'm very sure either Ramdin or Sammy would have been able to captain side as they are more experienced.Plus,as you rightly said, Chanders would have down well as a number 3 batsman to steady the innings.I woda drop Russell and play Bravo(Bravo is a bit more consistent that Russell).

then again all these things would never happen and windies would never win the cup....so moving on

When was d last time it had a major ICC world cricket tournament
where India and Australia were not in d finals?
Oh how I'd love to see CWC2015 without those two eh!

In other news, here's my take on WI chances (even doh I tink dey
should geh knock out).
First and foremost WI have to beat UAE (which they most likely will
by a considerable margin taking their NRR close to +).
Ireland will lose to India which will land them square on 6 points
along with Pakistan and WI.
The PAK vs IRE match will determine which two of these three
teams progress to the quarter-finals.

and the messed up thing is the WI game is before so Ireland even though they may lose to PAK...they will know what is needed to tip WI with a better NRR
The only hope we really have is for india to put a sound beating on them

And then if WI get tru we go be in fourth position and have to play NZ.
Wonder how WI go feel if rain washout d IRE vs PAK match and both of
them get 1 point each?

England makes an early exit from CWC2015 with a 15-run loss
to Bangladesh. They play Afghanistan for pride in their final
match. Bangladesh qualify for their first ever quarter-finals in
World Cup history.

well, that win by india surely favored WI..Ireland's NRR took a serious hit

What you all think will be the better bet to give WI a better NRR
bat first, post a big score and bowl them cheaply
or
bowl first, limit them for under 200 and chase it down very quickly

??

Bat first. WI don't seem to handle pressure well, even against the
small sides. Batting first allows them to play freely.

If they win the toss, bat first, score 400, bowl out UAE for 200
Hope Pakistan beat Ireland.
