Guy, anyone here knows how to fix this? I'm using chrome btw

You try clearing your browser cookies? Or try a system restore to when it was working.

no, will clear cookies in d morning. System restore is really a last resort because I'm not sure when last I created a backup

The SP fans?

Nah, the stock black ones that come with the old h100.

They cooling nice but the noise a bit unbearable. Will have to control them via the board's software to balance off the noise and rpms.

Looking fwd to see how it turn out. You should replace them corsair fan with some scythe ap-15's, using those on my rad, excellent static pressure + very quiet even on full. They lil pricy tho but worth it

Was using what i had on me at the time, the second version i wanna do later in the year go be more professional looking.

Tomorrow i have to install the intake fans becuz the board's heatsinks and the memory modules putting out some heat due to overclocking, those fans much quieter.

Tested the systems tonight and they working fine, temps are where they should be and no leaks. :D

Just installed Ubuntu to the Hard Drive and it works fine. Linux only sees 2gb of the installed 4gb though, it says DIMM 1 is empty so I'm assuming a stick really was bad which prevented Windows from installing/booting. The BIOS also only shows 2gb. WiFi was hell to setup but finally got thru. Now to install video card drivers and ill use it like this till I can get some new RAM (hoping it's not the actual slot that's damaged)

Guys, been looking online for a full cover VGA water block for my msi 7950, and it seems as though theres a possibility of my card actually using a 7970 reference pcb. apart from it using 8+6pin pci-e connectors...is there any other way i could tell if the pcb is 7970 reference? the info im getting online requires removal of the frozr iii which im trying to avoid. im hoping the markings on the back of the pcb would indicate something.

That should confirm you have a 7970 pcb, also read the newr models of the frozr iii shipped with said pcb & as you now bought yours chances are g2g.

Saw this on OCN as well:
Quote: You can also tell by the positioning of the screw holes on the card. If you look closely at both the pictures above you can tell the screw holes aren't identical. There are only three screw holes on the 7950 pcb on the far right side of the picture above, first picture, and on the 7970 you have four screw holes on the far right side picture, the second picture

I noticed that the EK block has 2 large channels passing over the VRMs, so does the heatkiller though not as much as the EK while the xspc only passively cools the VRMs.
Does having these channels pass over the VRMs make a significant improvement in temps? or is it just 2-3deg difference?

found a nice round up here http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=230772

Cyar use dem fans u suggested nah, the static pressure too low to effectively cool the rad.

I have fan controls in the front of the case but i have to extend the wiring to reach the noisy fans which are in the back of the case, laziness nah

Oh I thought it was this one you talking bout
Image

The one you interested in looks pretty nice & it coming with a nice backplate. You should be using a colored coolant with that since it's clear. As far as cooling goes from the research I've done the difference between gpu blocks are almost negligible so choose whichever looks the best to you. The voltage regulators on this gen cards real efficient so even air cooling them would be effective so no need to really study that too much. IMO I think the heatkiller is the hardest looking block & as the VRMs are actively cooled by water it'll probably net you a lil better performance. If you planning to overclock the sh!t out of your 7950 I'd say go for that one.

Is a xspc rasa rs360 with a dense fin structure.

When i was using the stocks xspc fans on it i wasn't getting the right cooling performance which is why i using the corsairs now.

When i change the rads i'll be able to use quieter fans.

firefox as well, however no broken link is shown in firefox, just empty spaces. I have a cisco e2500 router, every time I try to launch cisco connect, it says router offline and I lose internet access for a few seconds. I have reset the router and my modem but the problem still persists.

It works fine on my brother's laptop and even when I log out of my account on my laptop, the problem persists

When I copy the image URL and go to it this message comes up
Unable to access the network
Google Chrome is having trouble accessing the network.

This may be because your firewall or antivirus software wrongly thinks Google Chrome is an intruder on your computer and is blocking it from connecting to the Internet.
Here are some suggestions:
Add Google Chrome as a permitted program in your firewall's or antivirus software's settings. If it is already a permitted program, try deleting it from the list of permitted programs and adding it again.
Error 138 (net::ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED): Unable to access the network.

Sigh, after system restore, firewall off, anti virus off, resetting the router multiple times, no luck.

Finally, I figured out the problem, Peerblock :?

If u using windows 7 just hit Start and in the 'search programs and files' bar at the bottom type in 'msconfig' and hit enter.

A box marked 'system configuration' will open up.

Go into the 'startup' tab of the window.

There you can enable/disable what programs run on startup.

You could either uninstall them or use msconfig (windows key+r, type in msconfig) to disable them from running when windows starts. Go to the startup tab & deselect whichever ones you don't want.

Which psu u using? cuz honestly im not sure if mine has ever spun up :|
Im using an AX850 which varies fan speed according to the PSU temp iirc. it will even turn the fan completely off @ low loads.
Will load up the GPU later and see what happens, but i think the build i currently have here prolly isnt going to tax this psu very much atall...which probably isnt very efficient.

I know which unit you have, I have a TX750 (non modular). I know these units 'manage' themselves in terms of the fan control but I believe once the gpu puts pressure on them it's supposed to spin. I dont think I've seen or heard mine spin :?

I have two of those, only when u load it to the maximum capable out put capacity you'll hear the fan a little.

All my fans in d psus does spin on startup though.
