they may very well have a point- although i didn't see it mentioned but in terms of height requirements. an agent has to literally shield the target with his/her own body, which means u probably should be at least as tall if not taller than the person u are shielding. what if they relaxed that requirement to allow females, knowing that the average female is shorter than the average male in order to satisfy the DEI requirements of a 30% quota?

right here in T&T we have height requirements in the TTPS- guess what? they are considerably lower for females than males- there was a case where a man sued the TTPS because he didnt meet the requirements for males although a female shorter than him would have qualified. but at least no TTPS using their body to shield anyone.

so the secret service with their DEI policies could very well have a different height requirement- 1 of the female agents appeared to be shorter than trump, leaving him exposed.

when it comes to safety- u dont hire someone because they are a woman so u can check a DEI box, u hire the best person for the job- man or woman. because if u do the former u tend to dumb down qualifications.

son, a real hitter will not care if is a man, a woman, a child an animal, or an object between himself and his intended target. He will either thread the needle if he can, or (if his weapon & ammo is capable) go through one to hit the other.

I suspect this particular shooter used 5.56 or .223. If so, the reason he only grazed him would probably be due to a combination of wind and target movement.
Besides that, he took a headshot. I suspect he chose that shot placement primarily for graphic effect, (it go look more gruesome and shocking) and not effectiveness. If he just wanted him dead, 2-3 heavy rounds to the middle of the chest would be just as effective, and much easier with a greater probability of success.

Slippery slope kinda scenario
Being in possession of a weapon is not a crime there, and even tho being in possession of a weapon in that scenario can be considered a potential threat, to eliminate the suspect before he makes any attempt to kill would be an unjustified murder. Can't just kill a man for what he could possibly do.
What should have happened, is they delay orange idiot's appearance on the podium, send men on the roof and remove the potential threat by arrest if possible, or elimination if necessary.

US embassies are NOT primarily about immigration and travel bro. They're all about making money off the populations of other countries for the US government first and foremost. The US military is never sent to liberate any country that has a military of substantial size and resources that can put up a real serious fight, or any country that doesn't have resources that they can potentially exploit one way or another.

another thing to consider besides outright visa rejection
