they azzuri will strike. its been the trend. team that peak to early have gone home. the italians always peak at the right time

both times with France playing with 10 men...

so who facking fault is that, def not the italians

not the Italian's fault, but no true Italy fan goes around beating their chest saying they destroyed a 10 man side...

the french are sore losers, they get bitter when their side is down.
its plain and simple

Spain line up with the same team that saw off Russia and Sweden in their first two group games so Cesc Fabregas stays on the bench. Italy bring in Alberto Aquilani and Massimo Ambrosini for suspended pair Gennaro Gattuso and Andrea Pirlo. Luca Toni keeps his place up front.

TEAMS
Spain: Casillas, Marchena, Puyol, Iniesta, Villa, Xavi, Torres, Capdevila, Ramos, Senna, Silva. Subs to follow.
Italy: Buffon, Panucci, Grosso, Chiellini, Toni, De Rossi, Ambrosini, Cassano, Zambrotta, Perrotta, Aquilani.

Euro might be the more exciting comp. The officiating is the WORST I have seen in a long long time...kinda take way from the great standard of play :!:

...and with that I'd have to say this was a more entertaining comp. but WC '06 was better  The officiating and variety was much better!

most of the officiating was deplorable
they would call little things and not call outright fouls

Remember the offside goal scored by Holland :?
How about the Poland game?

It's beyond deplorable...this is only gonna make the arguement for video replay or electronic intervention even more solid.
