But the amount of docs, lawyers, university grads, business owners tell a different story.
Injuns would not have had an ounce of success if any past government was truly against them.
At least generally most of the population not eating the crap these "leaders" preaching.
I could understand if you were talking geographical neglect as opposed to racial neglect.
Please stop with the cry-me-a-river syndrome.
So what is the excuse for black people and their constant demands and cries for government assistance?
Seeing that you are not indian and would not understand how indians sacrifice to save a dollar to seek the interest of their children I will teach you so you don't become a stereotypical blackman and will be as successful as these same doctors and lawyers who gained nothing from the government for their success.
Look in your office and see who buys big nice lunches and who saves their money and eats bread or roti, those that bring lunch. Who limes after work every Friday and who limes once a month.
Indians have saved a little to get what they wanted never depending on Government because the PNM gave them nothing in their 50 years of existence.
To get anything from the PNM you had to join their party.
True Indians run down money and physical possessions and fight with their siblings over assets and never really enjoy it or life and die leaving it for their children to squander while African people live life to the fullest.
Very true about indians. The children fight for inheritance. The parents are at fault for not distributing in advance but depending on goodwill which is nonexistent with wealth.
Black people lifestyle is the reason they have nothing to give their children or fight for. Hence why they depend on or beg government. They fully understand the importance of being in government rather than indians who don't care because they work for what they want. If only indians were more dependent they would understand the importance of government. Hence the crab in a barrel theory.
Plain talk bad manners.

With the election campaign heating up as September 7th draws near, Opposition Leader Dr. Keith Rowley announced a plan to reduce the nation’s road fatalities during Emancipation celebrations over the weekend. During his speech, Dr. Rowley promised that should the People’s National Movement gain power, his new “Tiidas for Toddlers” programme would cut the number of road fatalities drastically.
“Tiidas for Toddlers” would see the Rowley administration handing over Nissan Tiidas, free of charge, to children below the ages of four in order to train them in proper road safety. A passionate Dr. Rowley told the exuberant crowd, “For too many years Tiida drivers have been the scourge of the nation’s roadways, and while many of us may say to ourselves that they have the awareness, attention span and mentality of small children, independent study has actually confirmed that toddlers are 40% more aware of the road than the average Tiida driver. With Tiidas for Toddlers, we hope to change that through training, education and the staple PNM handouts. By handing out cars to children, we will acclimatize them to the rules of the road at an earlier age, and train them not to fall into the bad habits Tiida drivers are commonly known for, such as tailgating, reckless overtaking and driving on the shoulder”.
With a roar of approval from the crowd spurring him on, Dr. Rowley continued, “My detractors and opponents may tell you to be concerned with an increase in traffic with all the extra cars on the road, as there is already gridlock everyday to and from Port of Spain. My response is to let it be known that “Tiidas for Toddlers” training will be taking place at non peak hours when most people are at work, so that their kids can practice driving in the roads without worrying about traffic or adult supervision”.
Dr. Rowley also addressed the issue of children safety as well, stating, “While some of you all may be concerned for the safety of your children driving at such a young age, I am telling you tonight, not to be, as our research has shown that statistically, a four year old child is safer driving itself on the nation’s roads than in a Tiida with an muffler bearing speeding on the highway"
