so? what they expect to happen if yuh eh pay yuh rent? evictions never happen in venezuela? how many months they in arrears? Because yuh landlord eh go put you out if you only missed yuh first month rent and yuh was paying in full & on time for months or years before, especially when they know what going on & how things rough for everybody. they eh want to ask for assistance for the property owner whose utility bills they running up while not paying rent, bills that he now have to find money to pay thanks to their parasitic behavior?

Sad story but at the same time how many Trinis are being evicted because of being unable to work due to the lockdown? I am yet to hear a single mother or fast food worker call for an extension of the lockdown

Evictions happen all the time, even to Trinis so I really dont see what the big deal is.

The Venezuelans are generally doing so well that there is such amazement from Trinis as they try to over exaggerate these petty crimes here and there.

Venes dont stay evicted for too long though. They are survivors and will get support from their own, even from locals as they work harder to make ends meet.

Hearing talk of police doing a raid and picked up a big maxi full of dem in El Socorro side this afternoon.

I don't think they deporting them at this time (or I could be mistaken), so what's the point? Pick dem up to just let them out in a day or 2?

A boatload of people believed to be Venezuelan nationals was found adrift approximately six miles off the coast of Belle Garden Friday morning.

The discovery was made while the fishermen were about to venture to sea to ply their trade.

A police source told Guardian Media, approximately four to six people are on board the vessel and are presumed dead.

The boat was eventually towed close to shore near the Belle Garden Beach Facility by the fishermen.

However, special heavy equipment have been requested to take the boat out of the water.

A senior police official also indicated that special personal protective equipment would be used in the retrieval of the bodies, as the cause of death is unknown.

Tobago Police are currently on the scene.

Investigations are continuing.

start of a new virus or plague entering tobago and then trinidad. why wasnt the boat and bodies destroyed by fire nstead of bringing it to land. dont any of these people watch television. two people from where they carry it will want to go fuq right where they store the boat and bodies and end up trowing somthing down and breaking the area where this is quarantined and doom all of us.

They are generally hard working people that outperform locals badly in many areas and they are in desperate situations. Its like a double wammy for them as they basically got 2 crises one after the other.

They are reaching out to us, and locals WILL help them as they have always been doing.

These people deserve to be helped.
