There always the Australian Summer season in December.
Just an observation.
AB DeVilliers last 10 matches have all been ODIs including this morning. His scores have been:
52; 48; 80; 33*; 37; 89*; 57*; 16; 6; 136*
All except two matches have been against Australia. This is class!!!

Both his Test and ODI averages are 51+.
He is world class and a South African great even if he retires today at the age of 30.

The day Chanders retires you would realize how mediocre the WI team would be. There would be no batsman with an average in the 50s. Gayle's and young Bravo's Test avg are low 40s and that would now become the best of the team.

You can't win series with average cricketers, maybe a match or two within a series.

Forget AB, Amla looks flawless atm, if de kock gets a bit more temperament, I've got my eyes on SA for worldcup.

Wow, that's nasty, almost to the back of the head, with today's technology we should be seeing some sort of improvement on protective gear, first it was ahmed shezad with a fractured skull, dunno what it'll be with hughes.

Youngest batsman to hit centuries in each innings of a test match. Hope he recovers.
Times like this I remember Phil Simmons and his head injury in which he was technically dead for a little while.

They still never got it like Jimmy Adams. He had a broken cheekbone and had to have a steel plate inserted after the Dutch Fast Bowler Andre Van Troost hit him in the face. Adams likes his Grill less helmet back in the days.

And to think about it, both Abbott and Hughes made their T20I debut together in the same match last month.
