Prolly because their PRO has a disgusting habit of setting people up.
don't shoot the messenger; the PRO is informing the public of information released by the TTASA executive.

I was told that the executive are making decisions on when to release specific information based on what they consider sensitive or not as they continue negotiations to secure Camden.

is the executive same as the trustees?

no exec are the posts, like the treasusrer / secretary / president.

trustees are the ones pulling the executives strings.
you know, telling them what to do / say / etc.

HAI

anything new or is it the run around again?

wrt to racing at camden just a footnote

they would have to get clearance from NHSL as well to host events
flights to offshore are daily, some are emergencies and you don't want to stop the government's bread and butter from heading offshore

i for one, with all my love for motorsports ain't delaying flights cause of racing

but what do i know

i'm just a hater

How does racing on the runway affect NHSL operations?

think choppers are required to 'taxi' down the runway on take-off and landing....not just drop vertically down onto final landing spot...hence need for runway

LOL, not at Camden.

The runway is completely separate from where NHSL choppers land.

Some no parking signs and wreckers could easily deal with that situation.

the pilot real lucky because nothing could {land} on that air strip, it is unkempt, grass and moss growing. The dam strip abandon, not in use, there no reason why we cannot use it except for the selfishness of briko.

is BRIKO leasing camden???

If not, then they have no case and TTASA legally has access to Camden....

If as some are saying, that camp den air strip is alive and small planes using it,how come national security does not have immigration, customs and police presence there. with influx of guns and drugs in this country, small planes flying in and out unchecked, this could be a heaven for illegal activities, is this the main reason why BRIKO does not want to share use of the run-way with TTASA

nope its probably because briko squatting as some are indicating

and they are holding on to thier squatters rights

somthing ttasa didnt do when they sold out wallerfield even thought they had occupancy of the land longer than briko did of camden

or are you now indicating that briko is involved in illegal activites ?

or is it just a way to try and discredit them for support to get them out

Camden is used for domestic flights only. Same reason there is no need for customs and immigration when you going on a plane to and from Tobago at Piarco and Crown Point. The scanner they use is for aircraft safety (aerosols, lighters, knives, explosives) rather than customs and excise.

I have a Friend at NHSL and when I asked what's happening with this new lease on Racing he told me that BRICO / NHSL personnel were not happy after the last "Occupation" of said "Track" for Racing as their employees were told during a event to use some old dirt back road to enter and leave and were not treated well .
