Agreed. First time in a while that Real looking like a unit that will give Barca some serious pressure. Plus those guys would be real pumped up for the win as I'm sure they fed up lose against Barca and with Jose there and the way they have been playing that go be more motivation to win. Hope Barca defence could keep up with the speed of those guys. I remember Pique doing well against Ronaldo last season (had this one play where surprisingly he actually matched Ronaldo for speed) but he looked terrible in Barca last game.

I saw Di Maria pass Alves easily a couple of times in the ARG-BRA friendly recently and I was like WTF. Once the defense hold it down the game should be tight. This is the perfect game for Villa (oh gosh please stay onside today) to break out and do some damage. I can't believe Barca score 8 goals the other day and Villa was not on the score sheet.

All in all hoping for a good exciting game today, with Barca being victorious.

Cristiano Ronaldo challenged Barcelona to try and score eight goals past his Real Madrid side when asked for his views on the champions’ earlier 8-0 thrashing of Almeria in La Liga on Saturday.

The Portugal forward scored a hat-trick in his side’s 5-1 hammering of Athletic Bilbao at the Bernabeu, taking his tally for the season to 14, one ahead of Lionel Messi in the La Liga goalscoring charts.

The Argentine World Player of the Year had netted a hat-trick in Barca’s romp over struggling Almeria, but Ronaldo was less than impressed with their efforts when questioned by Spanish television pitchside at the Bernabeu.

“(The 8-0 win) It doesn’t tell me anything,” Ronaldo said. “Let’s see if they score eight against us on Monday.”
