Got to feel for Russell after doing so much hard work but credit to Lando on holding off both mercs with a little help from Carlos… Max with an amazing recovery as well in that last stint

Yeah that's real sour for Russell.
LANDO real drive!!!!
This track showed that the Red Bulls just aren't set up for these tight street circuits.

Agree and agree. I doubt Perez will be with RB next season. As much as he brings huge sponsorship $$, I’m willing to bet he gets dropped.
I’m sure anyone else could do better in that car.

Big constructors are actually bad for the sport. They are beholden to shareholders and leave when the market and share price isn't going well.

I prefer racing focused teams like Red Bull/Williams or niche car manufacturers like Ferrari/McLaren/Aston Martin.

Merc, Audi/VW, Renault etc should just be engine manufacturers.

Haas may not survive much longer if another more successful American team comes to join the lineup in 2024……and takes away the big name sponsorship from Haas.

Spending cap will help even playing field.

Very interested to see what Audi brings given their past dominance in LeMans.

Are they developing their own power plant or getting it from another supplier?

Well this is interesting

During inspections post-race, both Hamilton and Charles Leclerc's cars were found to have skid
blocks not in conformity with the Technical Regulations.

A report from Bauer read: "A physical floor and a plank wear inspection was carried out on car numbers 16 and 44.

Meanwhile... Toto is no where to be found...
Ferrari issued a statement, they not gonna challenge the decision. You must feel for Leclerc though, from pole to poor tyre strategy to this.

4 cars got randomly picked, 2 failed scrutineering.

They should really check all the cars.

I agree. If 50% of your sample fails then by extrapolation half of the field could potentially be disqualified.

True. But there still is the conspiracy theory that they penalized Hamilton to give Sergio a better change of securing P2 and Red Bull the honour of claiming Drivers champ, runner up and Team Champ. Just sayin……

COTA needs to be repaved.

Turn 1 the cars were straight up bouncing.

I'd have thought all the cars would have failed the plank scrutineering.
