I don't have a proper tracking system in place as yet, but so far, it seems like these two items went up at pricesmart from last month:

[Arm & Hammer Liquid Detergent 250 oz/160 loads]: $154.95-->$166.95 (+$12)
[Kerrygold Irish Creamery Butter 454 g / 1 lb]: $49.95--> $52.95 ($+3)

I think [Nescafe Gold Blend Coffee 200 g @$90.95] went up also, but I didn't record what it was last month. I think it was 80-something.

^^ so perhaps they're bumping up the prices on a few items where they think they can.

Also TBF, one item went down by $1, which was [Hebrew National Beef Hot Dog 3 Pack / 340 g / 12 oz @$113.95].

I just try my hand at planting some this week.
Cant handle them price swings with tomatoes
and with rainy season coming I dont think it will get much better but maybe it will as surely plenty farmers would have replanted again recently.
we will know in 2 months time if there is a price drop due to over planting of tomato

Here's the rub though, the foreign beefsteak tomato is $15-18, even the market guy/gal seemed perplexed/embarrassed by the local prices.

Wouldn't some of these price increases be due to the additional taxes on "foreign luxury items" implemented under the last budget by the Minister of Finance?

Nescafé Gold went up in Pmart from that $80 price since last year. When Massy has sales on the Gold which they have had twice for the year it's actually cheaper to buy the 200gram Gold there.

Pressure right around. Prices all over have slightly increases. I don't know how poor people going to manage.

My salary cut back by almost half too. Thank God I don't have any debt and have a good enough savings to blow past this covid. Some people not so fortunate
