Exactly, I can't believe how many people on tuner support this! If these Venezuelan's so hard working, loyal and all the other good things that Trinidadians are not, then how come so many of us worry about our country becoming like Venezuela? These people are on their best behavior because they do not want to go back to their country.
If the government does their job properly and make a genuine effort to control crime and boost productivity in the public sector, the attitude of the citizens will change.

All please take the above statement with a pot spoon of salt. Many of us with no ties to the mainland have no idea what they may be getting themselves into sure there are diamonds in the rough but they are very rare. Most are here to find a man to fund their family in the homeland. As for the promiscuity, that does not belong to any race of people, more so if that were true how many establishments of ill repute are allegedly filled with these women?

Further, do we know the history of Colombia and Venezuela, criminals from those countries of decades ago would make mass with our current security systems? There are good and bad persons of any nationality. It's just that the countries outlined are well noted worldwide for criminal activity.

Many are here to find a man to mine the family abroad, I agree. But I just find it odd how they leave out the locals and managing fine. Our locals kinda crack yes.

Everyone's experience with that marriage thing to those Latin ladies is different but generally I'm inclined to agree with the money angle. It appears that if the money is flowing so will the love. Once that dries up is pressure.

Another thing they (try to) do is get pregnant so even if things don't work out on the matrimonial front they high-tail it back to their families and you the dotish "impregnator" have to be sending her money every month for maintenance.

IMHO, hiring immigrants because their work : compensation ratio seems to be better than Trinidadians is just like buying things in a flea market! Steep depreciation with -ve salvage value (it will cost you to keep it or dispose of it properly)!

its much much much easier to get credit in the US and canada as well

have padnas my age (28) who left trinidad at 20 and now own house and condos that they rent out....rent paying for mortgage in canada, getting credit easy easy

went KFC gulf last nite after the fire works ... walking in front of me to enter KFC was a vene couple , they surprisingly
didnt go to the line which had about 20 people they went close to the kids play ground and sat , i went about my own business got my kfc after about 40 mins .. to my surprise they still ther sitting on ther fone , on a watsapp call / convo ... they stayed ther for about 15 mins again and then jus left ... so apprently they came in KFC to use the free Wifi to tell the folks back hme life in T&T sweet .......
