The conclusion is that even First World citizens hate politicians' electronic campaigning. The difference between them and us being First World countries have laws and regulations to lessen the negative impact of that sort of BS.

The main point is not the fact that people are getting calls. It's how the database of people to be called was compiled. A database compiled from publicly available information, ok fine still some issues to sort out but ok, but personal information from, for example, a private business or even government entity being given to a political party for the purposes of electronic campaigning crosses into legal grey areas (for example, the violation of privacy laws).

There are 2 differences.
The first difference is that in the US & other developed nations often the candidates supporters wold willingly give their contact information to the candidate. Thus making it perfectly legal to call/email/send correspondence to them.

The second difference is, this ain't the U.S & other developed nations. This is Trinidad & Tobago. And there is a law on the books here that makes it illegal for them to do what they are doing currently. Jus cuz it might be legal in the U.S. through some legal loophole does nothing to change the fact that here aint there & kamla & her supporters have to obey the laws of T&T just like everyone else. particularly the laws that the current regime recently passed in this current term in office.
