also if you have 20% or 35% with black or dark interior it may seem as though the tint is darker than it really is and police don't really take that into consideration, you are given the option to rip out your tint or get a ticket for it. if you are certain your tint is not that dark do like me, simply take the ticket, go to any licensing office have the officers there inspect your tint where they are more educated with these matters and make better judgement regarding legal tint, if they agree the tint is not a problem they give you a document stating this where you can produce in court and you win your case easy peasy. keep the document for future roadblocks. its the same thing with fog lights that are said to be illegal now. new vehicles with fog lights when they are registered licensing office give you a letter for the fog lights as to not get charged or harassed. just produce the document and if the police not pleased they have to take you to court to contest it which they wont.
