yes I have done it already - on a 2nd gen 720p AppleTV. I also loaded Navi X on it.

it worked well but I eventually ended up restoring out of the jailbreak becasue I wanted to try an update. I didnt put back on XBMC since.

I stated later that I personally did it with a 2nd gen AppleTV. I am not familiar with jailbreaking a 3rd gen.

Seems it is not possible at this time with the 3rd gen unit

Probably just another one of those things out there that I just don't consider having to jailbreak worth it.

Ok - just thought there was some easy way to do it that I didn't know about (with you being the resident Apple guru and all :lol:

)
Seen some ratch workarounds floating about on the net using Plex but I not that desperate for it on my Apple TV
