Should run a recurring once a month list of the major grocery chains and how many of their products prices reflect the "no vat" Change as a star rated system in all the major newspapers.

A list of products not known by the supermarkets every month are randomly sampled during the month by an independent body and compared to what they should cost less "vat" and for supermarkets close to expected price 10 stars.

Open Sunday papers first sunday of the month check list of ten largest supermarket chains see which have over 7 stars purchase there, repeat process next month to see if to stay or move on...

That said trip not much one can do, if all the supermarkets doing it and we don't have a means to let the public know which are the major culprits and as a dude mentioned before the smaller markets like the Chinese groceries playing dumb the only other choice would be to open your own grocery and not everyone able to do that. I all for the first Vat free tuner grocery any investors interested??

Trust me, they'll never catch all the groceries. There are some distributors whose CEO's (cah call names) that raise the prices of their products since removal of VAT, forcing some groceries to follow suit to meet their markup.

Vat removed, things get more expensive, new reasons why prices cannot go down. When flour went up, bread prices rose. Flour went down , prices stay the same, they say is transport, gas and all kinds of other things that cause it to stay expensive.
