Some of the signals being sent by the U.S.A during this process are quite troubling and suggest strongly that the democratic process is controlled by the $.
It is difficult to concieve how the 'polls' as offered by the US media varies so significantly from our take on how things have been.
Granted,I don't live there but I hasten to add that,I have a good sense of the collapse which the presiding president had to cope with and the fact that the world took note of his foreign policy posture (man won a nobel peace prize).
However, today we are being told 'he was terrible'.
....JEEZE I MUST BE MAD!
Maybe this might just be another example of how people regardless of what country are easy to manipulate once enough money is deployed.

Hate to agree.

From a guy that barely got support in his own party's primaries, to having most voting Americans'
support. Like i said before, the Republicans are the greatest salesmen. And can skew/spin any democratic idea, no matter how well intentioned into foreboding...like the whole "class warfare" or "Job Creators", BS.

Also i think the establishment (even those that might be traditionally democratic), see Obama as bad for business.

Lets just say, in money loving America, redistribution of wealth is not a popular topic, as fair and balanced as it might sound. And there are lots of gullible/stupid Americans, waiting to be sold BS.

All that said. Romney will be a terrible choice, but hey!...it's theirs.

The concept of 'instant gratification' appears to be very much alive in the USA.
The electorate gravitates to someone who promises things that for the realist are going against the momentum in the global economy.
The success of China is blamed on currency manipulation but fails to recognise that China has a massive population and philosophy which causes labour rates to be crazy low coupled with a passion to achieve high levels of output in every market sector.
I may not agree with the 'Politics' of China nor their willingness to mess with standards, but hell the internal momentum based on just domestic demand and supply is unbelievable.
Last time around was Japan who did the US economy in,to the extent Japanese started buying up land-mark properties such as Rockerfella Building. How did the japanese did it........innovation and productivity fuelled by crazy national pride.
....SEE WHY I SAY I MAD!

^ i need to take een ah lil daily show.

american policies affect the world.

this is an interesting development we see here. we see that the democrats have the overall best ideas for the people as well as the country, and we see obama being very commanding (recently) as a leader should be. now we see that the american media is still touting obama as loosing or if they admit it is a win, they say that it was a manufactured situation.
i think that obama would win this election, but that is because i don't think that enough people are disillusioned enough to cross over to the republican side, they still have hope.
if the republicans do win, that would mean that they are really gullible and really susceptible to their media propaganda machine.

batchak obattam mite win, but on the basis of what exactly. based on romney's contributions to the debate, i eh find republicans have evolved enough to inspire the population, but americans in general are absolutely not comfy with obamcee policies/performance either.

rel excitement for this election yes.

(*notes down republican campaign strategy and will spot d similarities in pnm's)

It's going to be amazing to see women's rights rolled back some 50 years if this Romney/Ryan ticket were to win the election. Women voters need to stand united behind Obama if they don't want their reproductive rights taken away from them!!

Having scanned contributions/donor infor. available,it is clear big business and financial gurus after Obama's head.
The working class groups seem to be doing what they can but hopelessly out-classed money wise.
Actually the people and institutions gunning for Obama are the same ones who he 'bailed-out'.
Funnily I believe the quiet majority will determine the final outcome and it ain't going to be in favor of the 'big-shots'.
The trick will be to get the quiet majority angry enough to cast their vote and avoid apathy.

Just some additional infor.
The Obama/Biden ticket defeated the Mc Cain/Palin ticket 52.9% vs 45.7% in 2008,and if you use a + or- 4% it tell you how close it was.
We seem to be in the same place today.
I used total votes cast in all states/voting provinces.

Even more messed up

If only men voted, Romney would win by a landslide, and vice versa, if only women voted, Obama would be elected by a huge margin.

hmmn, romney learn how to block obama's cut-offs.

romney mashin up the obama care, but obama segway that to the military and u can't even remember about the obama care being over budget.

'yes, we have fewer ships than we had in 1916, but we also have less horses and bayonets; the nature of our military has changed.' obama
obama make romney seem schupid, tellin him that he not doin he home work and don't understand the military.

romney's voice is cracking up, i think he realizing that the democrats have reasonable policies.

and i heard that he tried to say osama, but could not think past obama, and quickly went with bin laden. but what came out was obama, then bin laden.

business with china would always be tricky, but america has the added complexities as china has plenty of their debt, and they have nuclear weapons while america is hell bent on getting rid of nuclear weaponized nations,

one of the few things that republicans say that i agreed with, that the companies needed to go through a controlled bankruptcy to cut fat. democrats saved to companies to save jobs, which as also a good way forward. the bankruptcy direction would have potentially set up the system to be better. the help package route saved jobs while allowing some sort of efficiency to happen.
it looks like 6 of one or half dozen of the other.

america has a hard road to go through. is either they continue in debt and become super power top dog again, as the republicans want. or they can be nicer, have their citizens better taken care of, but loose out on the global status, but instead have better trust with the other super powers, if obamas words ring true.

romney giving them the 'we will rise' bull crap too.

The USA's problem is not the nations with nuclear weapons for a while now r.e. China, Russia, India, Pakistan, Israel, UK and France. Its with those who want to get it now...Iran, North Korea etc.

Well they do think they are the global power. But personally I believe we can't take away from those that have as its too late but it's in the world's interest to let the nuclear club be as small as possible.
especially as the nations wanting it now are some unstable regimes.

You do know that during the Kargil conflict between India and Pakistan (Largest mobilization of soldiers since WWII) Pervez Mushraf asked the Pakistan military to ready nukes and the US asked the Pakistanis to stand down when their satellites picked up the nuke movements?
Do we really want more states with that capability?
