GeneralHonda wrote:I am having good success with Common Bermuda Grass that I grew from seeds. It needs about 4 hours of direct sunlight to grow so some degree of shade is not an issue. For weeds, you need to keep at it constantly using pre-emergent treatments, weedicides that do not harm lawns and some good ole hand pulling. I have been able to successfully eradicated crabgrass from the lawn areas I am working on. I selected Common Bermuda Grass since it establishes rapidly, does not need to much fertilizer and requires little water (about 1-2 inches weekly in the dry season).

Where can you get zoysia seeds locally? I usually only see the Scotts Bermuda grass in stores.

Any recommendations for a weedicide to control crabgrass in zoysia? I've been battling with that any wild bhagi. Amine works for the bhagi but I haven't had much progress with the crabgrass besides hand pulling.

Thanks for the feedback. I will try the Basagran and post an update.

Update
Crabgrass and nut grass virtually wiped out with Basagran and Prowl.
What can I use to eliminate dove weed? Basagran didn't do it much damage.
