As for the legit hiring process,they will do a complete background check of new hires now,up to the point of sending someone to verify your address.I know at least 3 banks that doing this now.This is why you will not see venes in banks as yet.You cannot background check them.Other than the service industry,I feel this should be standing hiring procedure this rounds with the amount of fraudsters around, whether locals or foreigners.Coc should be standard, even to small businesses,in a two fold way.One is background check,the other is , that upon doing a coc, that person is now known to the police in case of any wrongdoing.

That hadda be now. Interview was a breeze and they didn't ask for any of that. Orrrr right I forget, that is RBC. If you want to know where the kidnappers were getting their info, there is where you start
