I hear people talking about Lenny's plates being the original and they are the best. They are in fact original. That said, I have plates from both Lenny Sumadh and from a cheaper place in central (will not be named).I will tell you all the "knock offs" you're referring to is brighter, neater and 3 years on looking better with the age than the Lenny's. Even when I picked up the plates in San Fernando I wasn't impressed as the lettering was dirty and had fine scratches on them. I bought a tin of lacquer and had to touch them up with a qtip. So I for one will stick with the "knock offs".
