I played the new NFS for about 10 minutes but didn't like it but I might do like HCCA and try to play it out at least once.

I have no comment on Black ops 2. I guess if the game is tewts, some of people might buy the pc version because of dx11.

And also, Steam had some of the Tomb raider games for usd$2.50, and Counter Strike global offensive is free until sometime Sunday.

I think the Seidon might be my CPU cooler upgrade with two sickles in a push pull config depending on how it performs...or i'll wait for the Eisberg :)

Anyone here has any experience with closed loop cpu cooling solutions?

building a desktop very soon and i was considering either a corsair H80 or an Intel BXRTS2011LC.

My main concern is leaking. I've read reviews on the corsair units that leaked, havent found anything negative really on the intel unit except that it really isnt that heavy duty for overclocking.
Its going on an i5-3570K, which i probably wont overclock so the cooler would mostly be for aesthetics and keeping sound to a minimum. Also it would allow me to use corsair vengeance ram on all 4 slots as most good HSFs wont have clearance for the heat spreaders on the inner-most dimm.

So is the closed loop system worth the leaking risk? Oh and im using a phantom 410 case.

Updated models for both the h80/h100 are being released (h80i/h100i).

I personally have had great results with my h100 other than an annoying pump noise but the new models will be addressing that & I might pick one up due to the highlighted upgrades, no leak problems thus far.

differences between the older versions and the new "i" variants.

1. Corsair Link compatibility in the box, so you can just plug in the included USB cable into a mbd header and download the software. This allows you to create your own fan and noise profiles, and to adjust the RGB LED logo on the top of the unit. (you can even have it changed color based on temp)
2. Moved from 4-pin "molex" power to a SATA power connector.
3. Upgraded cold plate
4. Upgraded impeller/bearing/motor design for lower noise pump unit.
5. Upgraded split-flow manifold design.
6. Upgraded to wider tubing with more flexibility, but retaining the same low evaporation rates.
7. Upgraded the fans to SP120L design. Same impeller as the SP120 retail, with a different housing. A high-torque motor keeps the fan spinning near its ideal RPM even with backpressure. The noise level of the units is significantly better than last year, as a result.
8. New Industrial Design.
9. Changed mounting mechanism for AMD/Intel bracket to be magnetic, so you can swap out the tops without any screws.
10. Price of H80i dropped from $109 to $99.

Nzxt has also released their AIO version called "kraken" ,those using a larger radiator x40 -140mm & x60 - 280mm. Since those are new I'd suggest waiting for a review but the larger rads should provide decent performance. But these only coming with a 2yr warranty as opposed to corsair 5yr warranty.

Not too sure what their replacement policy will be like (NZXT), but afaik corsair has a policy put in place to replace your damaged components in case of a leak. From what I've read you would need to ship them your damaged components & an estimated value will be given on the items. $150us is all that is offered for your gpu tho.

If you not planning on OC I'd suggest Antec 920/620 (very reliable units) or the H80i. That intel cooler looks to be a solid performer as well so you should be safe if you choose that.

Have used numerous closed loop coolers are their performance become really limited when you decide to OC. Above average that is. If you are using it for regular use with a mild OC and want stability. Good to go!

I would recommend the h80 as well..better rad than the h100.

I need a lil help with GTA 4....nowhere online have a fix for it.

My system is a 3.0 AMD with 4GB RAM and a 1GB EVGA GPU. I have ALOT of games installed and all others run fine but GTA 4. When I first installed it, it worked as smooth as ever, but when I started installing vehicle mods, after about 7 minutes, the game would crash and an error message appears: "Fatal Error: Unrecoverable Fault - Please restart the game". After restarting, the same thing kept happening. I uninstalled all the vehicle mods and I still get the same error. Someone told me it could be the game's compatability with Windows 7 so I ran the compatibility to Windows XP SP3 and run as adminitrator but the same thing keeps happening.

What can I do to solve this?

EA has announced that Battlefield 3 Premium surpassed 2 million sales, along with the more interesting news that Battlefield 1942 is now free through its Origin service. Taking place during the events of World War II, this digital version includes online multiplayer with and against others who have downloaded the game. Unfortunately, existing expansion packs are not included and compatibility with older mods is not guaranteed.

Regardless, Battlefield 1942 is the game that paved the way for fantastic shooters like Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3, and is one of the franchise's most important titles. As an added bonus, EA is also offering a free electronic art booklet that features concept designs that the development team used more than a decade ago.

The handling of the vehicle and adjustments you make to the cars tuning. MW seems way too arcade :/
