well he should come back good in this series because he has only this series and the one against South Africa to prove himself worthy of a pick for the world cup next year.

Its stupid decisions like what pollard made that make windies a topple over team. Over ambitious.

I feel for Dwayne Smith. Never made an ODI century
and now missed it by 3 runs.
Next time bro... Next time.

Some years ago Samuels was under Indian police radar for game fixing, guess they will have to pull out that file again and review it.

My thoughts exactly...i can't understand why he bat like a puss although the track was on the slow side. An international player must be able to adjust..

even though he made some runs i really felt they did mess by puttin polly so early
they wasted his true hitting ability....had samuels gone in, even though he starts slowly and lets say he get out like he did, wasting 4 overs of dot balls would not have been that bad early in the innings rather than in the later part

Ramdin in some decent form and can knock the ball around easily to rotate strike with the boundarys ever so often so i think he might actually be a better opener at the moment

russel coming in so late is not working out. think bravo shouldve experimented and used him as the opening batter and saved himself for the clutch situation at the middle to end.

i am not a hypocrite, if u look back in this thread you would see that I rate samuels. He has the most orthodox technique and strokeplay on the WI team. Very classy batsman.. but he is a bit too proud for being so inconsistent.

Pollard, bravo, russel, sammy and lil bravo to an extent are annoyingly inconsistent.

if you check it out, that is the whole top order..lol

somehow I feel as though the Pakis collected some money to lose their games...

so next game for the Windies is on Friday, hopefully Simmons come in for Lil B to open the batting.

The game is in Dharamsala, which has one of the most beautiful backdrops for a cricket stadium and it's this game would be the 2nd ODI ever played there.
