If anything made me suspicious, It was that and I agree with going back to perth. When they caught the 'suspect' action in the semis, the report on cricinfo said it was after the game, the umpires had a sitdown and watched his action slowed down and called what they 'believed' to be a flex more than 15 degrees. So it wasn't on field and it wasn't any conclusive determination of the degree of flex. It looked to me like he actually bowled with a much straighter arm in the semis after being called the game before. But, if he was cleared before, i'm sure he can either pass or fix it easily, i know he actually has 2 bowling actions.
But anyways, aus vs pak today, aussies bringing out the spin on slow tracks now, adapt or die lol.

look back some pages in this same thread. quite a few of us called his action a long time ago just from observation over the tv and knew it was a matter of time.

i thought the icc wouldve called him for it, never expected the bcci, cant remember them ever bringing up a player for that.

i really feel like he knew that his action was a bit off at times, im sure they watch their own tapes. hence the long sleeves, always missing test cricket etc. to me the shock is that the bcci called him up for it. not sure if they were waiting on the icc to do it but due to his lack of participation in international tests they got tired of waiting.

i feel that the west indies should have still played him in the odi series and let the report be done under ICC regulations if they chose to report his actions. also a cricketer playing in a foreign domestic league should not be under such protection by their national cricket board (WICB in this instant) that is a private arrangement between their agent and a club, to me that was misrepresentation by Clyve Lloyd etc. too much respect is given to the BCCI in my opinion, they technically have more say than the ICC currently in world cricket which is a shame. and the situation of the intervention and fear shown by the WICB just goes to show how all other nations bow down to BCCI.

technically comparing this situation to another for simplicity, its like say malinga coming to play in the limeacol CPL and some random umpire here accuses him of throwing, then he gets banned from bowling in the CPL, goes back home and his country tells him to dont play cricket for them until he get his action tested... pssshttt not a firetruck of that gona happen but grins and giggles.

that call from the BCCI imo was pure politics..CSK had to win and not KKR...also it would be a bigger plus to not have Narine play against India this week so India could win....yes the man does pelt but honestly the ICC should have called it.

Considering they are complaining about their contracts and salaries, it's refreshing to see that WI actually "show up" so far in this one day.

lol india made a mistake by resting ashwin. although he was out of form he may have been more of a threat to WI batting. glad to see the batsmen perform without gayle. to me its a better batting lineup

The off spinning witch hunt continues. Propser Utseya banned from all bowling as all his deliveries deemed illegal and Sohag Gazi also banned from bowling.

Nice win, considering the talks of strike action just before the match, and the fact that the team was without Gayle and Narine.
Hope they can continue like this.
