Why is our headline news today in February 2025 showing that over 25,000 rounds of ammunition in reserve for the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment have gone missing from the Cumuto Barracks? What were the police , regiment , minister of national security doing between then to now but you know the funny thing NOBODY will be held accountablefor thisScreenshot_20250216_064957_Samsung%20Internet.jpg

You want to hear something funny, no money for this but allocation for all officials under the SRC list was disbursed to all ministries and state institutions. The same slaves who salary hasn't moved in over 10 years are the ones who have to process these payments. Anyway, the money isn't there right now for the upkeep of these vehicles but for salary increase for the big boys it is in abundance.paid_influencer wrote:so a SoE but police vehicles grounded because of non-release of funds by the MoF?
This thing where the left hand not responsible for the right hand can't work. What we need is a whole-of-government approach to crime.

DPP ends case against duo after dead witness' evidence can't be used
.....The duo was arrested and charged after a woman, Alicia McKenzie, claimed that she saw Moyo and another man shoot Fullerton after Flemming threatened to kill him (Fullerton) earlier that day.
She also claimed that Flemming and another man were present when Fullerton was shot and they ran away with the two shooters.
McKenzie was murdered almost a month after Fullerton. ....
.....During case management hearings in preparation for their retrial, State prosecutors signalled their intention to apply under Section 15C of the Evidence Act to utilise McKenzie's statements again.
After they repeatedly missed extended deadlines for officially filing the application, the case was set for trial.
Sources close to the investigation said the unit will also meet with a representative from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to discuss a “financial aspect” of the matter, which would involve examining financial transactions undertaken by the suspended CoP, including the movement of cash, to better understand a timeline of events.
