Should have been done since season 1. They moved away from country based system to a franchise based system. The franchises should stand on their own. IIRC before season 1 CPL they spoke of teams named by cities (Port of Spain, Bridgetown etc). Dunno what happen with that.

However the small islands dependent on Tourism would always want the exposure their country names being attached to something brings. Castries Zouks doesn't give as much exposure as St Lucia Zouks.

I backing the amazon for the title.

Imo Pooran should not be playing this form of the game if he intends to be a future west indies batsman in the longer format of the game.As soon as Barath was introduced to t20 his career when down hill from injuries to inconsistencies.Pooran could suffer the same faith so he should concentrate on the 4 day tournaments instead if he is to make it.

tournament is still too new to really find that one team to like and root for so this is what i find myself doing as well. as years go by you may find yourself taking a liking towards a particular side.

scoring 13 off narine is already hard to do in four overs much less 6 balls
