i use marathon amps buddy, 2 years + works flawless, but i use MA not the dj. from what i understand is that the dj is the lighter version and may/may not put out what its expected to do.

those are powered monitors so u probably wont need a dbx drive rack
u might be better off with a decent 2 channel mixer
as for the PRX my cuz has a pair and they sound really fackin good at high volume
but you will need something for low end, maybe a pair of jbl mpros or prx618

those PRX are also really stinking expensive!

Own PRX 635 3-Way coupled with PRX 618xlf.

IMO
Plays an amazing sound which is very clear and detailed for a PA system. The 635s can play the lower frequencies well without compromising the upper frequencies as these are played by the 6 inch Mid and Driver. The 18Inch sub plays really low for a PA system.

This certainly blow away any Plastic enclose Powered boxes I've heard with performance and Clarity.

Used these without very very little post processing and they sounded awesome (Laptop>USB Mixer>Speakers).

^^not practical IMHO. i MEAN...............REALLY??? 450LBS???

A good 2X2 EAW set properly powered would weigh in at the same, and be easier to move around, and cost 1/4 the price, and would maybe actually play at the same volume (a PROPER EAW set eh, not them micky mouse ting men callin EAW).
