it was 2000 shipping taxes and what not on a ps5 with aeropost, can just use a skybox calculator mostly correct ones u make sure to upload the invoice for customs

So I've applied for the Tax refund and within 2 hours I got it. About $15 USD refunded on 2 seperate orders.

How u did this? Which skybox?

you can do it with any skybox, you just need to submit the AWB or Screenshot of the local invoice from your skybox company

you can also do it on ebay and very easily on amazon

the local invoice must show the tracking number of the package in the USA before it was delivered to your skybox
as well as the Air way bill number that your skybox assigns to it
and also the location it was delivered (Trinidad)

You can apply for refunds dating back atleast a year btw. But the refunds are sent to the card that paid for it.

So take a day and apply for all your refunds

Anyone recently have to pay sales tax when using Aeropost's address. Never had to before but since last week it's coming up.

Yes. Ordered from Apple last wk and paid sales tax. Very strange.

placed two orders earlier. no sales tax to aeropost address.

looks like apple is black listing freight forwarder addresses as people apply for sales tax refunds along the way.

Some more details for anyone interested:

This change comes in the form of House Bill 7061 and the Florida Certificate of Forwarding Agent Address. This new legislation includes freight forwarders within the definition of a dealer and creates what is essentially an exemption certificate specific to the industry. The certificate will operate similar to a traditional resale exemption certificate. Exporters will be able to use this certificate in two ways: (1) they can provide the exemption certificate directly to the vendors from which their customers make purchases; and (2) they can provide their customers with the exemption certificate so that they customers can in turn provide it to their vendors.

For example, CUSTOMER wants to make a purchase from WEBSITE for direct shipment to EXPORTER. EXPORTER and CUSTOMER have two options to exempt the transaction from sales tax:

EXPORTER contacts WEBSITE and provides them with their Florida Certificate of Forwarding Agent Address. WEBSITE updates their system so that all purchases made for shipment to EXPORTER are exempted going forward.

EXPORTER provides CUSTOMER with their Florida Certificate of Forwarding Agent Address. CUSTOMER contacts WEBSITE and works with WEBSITE to exempt this particular transaction, or transactions made specifically by CUSTOMER from WEBSITE when such purchases are shipped to EXPORTER.

u suppose to pay the tax but you could get refunded it if you have proof of export

skybox companies would have provided proof of export if you asked them, but looks like some skyboxen are automatically providing it now for all shipments

Anyone else with Websource receiving packages with their items being opened? I received a couple last week where the plastic seals on the boxes were cut. Today I received an iPad and the plastic covering the box was removed

Happened to me once or twice but with low value items. I complained to the skybox and it never happened again. My blood pressure might peak if it was an iPad tho

such is life, any amount of persons might have opened the packaged to inspect and you have to accept that

Never had that happen before. They usually just open the boxes the item is shipped in. But to open the actual items? They couldn't see the item was an iPad without having to remove the plastic and open the box?

They did that with chargers and cables too? The boxes for those were sealed on both ends and they cut both seals like they were bored or something

All my packages does get opened with TE

Only thing i realise they dont open is clothes if it in a bag
Other than that, open and resealed with clear tape
Items in opaque boxes within boxes are opened also

Well, seeing that most items within the opaque package are in clesr bags, they dont open those.

Yesterday i collected a small ching-chong waterpump, came in a brown unmarked box.
The little round seal was cut. And that came within a bigger box with other items.
