This change comes in the form of House Bill 7061 and the Florida Certificate of Forwarding Agent Address. This new legislation includes freight forwarders within the definition of a dealer and creates what is essentially an exemption certificate specific to the industry. The certificate will operate similar to a traditional resale exemption certificate. Exporters will be able to use this certificate in two ways: (1) they can provide the exemption certificate directly to the vendors from which their customers make purchases; and (2) they can provide their customers with the exemption certificate so that they customers can in turn provide it to their vendors.
For example, CUSTOMER wants to make a purchase from WEBSITE for direct shipment to EXPORTER. EXPORTER and CUSTOMER have two options to exempt the transaction from sales tax:
EXPORTER contacts WEBSITE and provides them with their Florida Certificate of Forwarding Agent Address. WEBSITE updates their system so that all purchases made for shipment to EXPORTER are exempted going forward.
EXPORTER provides CUSTOMER with their Florida Certificate of Forwarding Agent Address. CUSTOMER contacts WEBSITE and works with WEBSITE to exempt this particular transaction, or transactions made specifically by CUSTOMER from WEBSITE when such purchases are shipped to EXPORTER.

Tax Refunds on Freight Forward Exports from the United States
You can request a tax refund for purchases fulfilled by Amazon and delivered to a valid freight forwarding company.
To request a refund, use the following instructions:
Tax refunds can only be requested for shipments delivered to a licensed customs broker or forwarding agent.
Supporting documentation must provide evidence your freight forwarded items shipped to a location outside of the United States.
Seems like a "do as I say, but not what i do" kinda tingMaxPower wrote:Team,
Please be reminded to upload the correct invoice with the correct value for your packages.
So for example, when making purchases on Amazon and selecting the “Gift” option which hides the price on the packing slip, do not be dishonest and fraudulent by uploading your own invoice and declaring false values.

you can do it with any skybox, you just need to submit the AWB or Screenshot of the local invoice from your skybox company
you can also do it on ebay and very easily on amazon

so just submitting AWBs is all that's needed? cause screenshot of invoices would be a pain lolol
btw, what's the website we're supposed to submit this to?

The airway bill....Many Skybox addresses does just send an email showing how much we owe them...(Invoice)
Can this work or do we need to get the actual Airway Bill from them....
Would greatly appreciate some advice from those who already got refunds....

Team,
Please be reminded that Amazon doesnt send the invoice of the item with their shipments so feel free to doctor your invoices just as Max does.

Well, seeing that most items within the opaque package are in clesr bags, they dont open those.Kronik wrote:None of my item boxes are opened, only the shipping boxes/bags, and that's about 50% of the packages, mostly medium to large packages, small 1lb and 2lb items don't get opened. This is with aeropost
