Oh nice......what side Messi played for?

I don't think anybody is happy the CR is out 5 weeks eh. I just think the team physio should have told him to take it easy on the knee as they weren't sure of the state of the injury. Maybe they did tell him. But adrenaline was pumping...

Point is thread was full of Messi talk when Ronaldo struggled to score at the start of the Euro.

But seriously now, has Messi ever won any trophies with the national side?

Nope just an olympic gold medal.

Dunno why he beating up over that so much. To me Club football > International football. All the money and glory in club football but to each his own.
Doesn't change the fact that on an individual level Ronaldo < Messi tho

What does sideline behaviour have to do with success? Are you saying he is a "better" supporter than Messi? I have never seen that stat in football before. Your head real up inna CR7 buttam jed................

^^lol another Messi fan boy who can't handle the context when Ronaldo outshines Messi.
My point is that Ronaldo was seen trying to motivate his side even though injured and OFF the field while Messi could not win one of THREE finals despite being ON the field

What are you 12? I was actually disappointed when Ronaldo got injured for the final. I thought it would lessen the game, and it did. That said, sideline behaviour comparison is fanboyism personified, BTW Messi was part of FOUR finals, not three

It must be really hard for Messi fan boys this year... Watching the best club in the world win undecima and then Ronaldo captaining the Euro champs while Messi's big accomplishment was avoiding a jail sentence

Primary school logic FTL! What about the other 4 trophies that RM didn't win that Barca did?

I'll just leave this here to remind the CR7 totie blowers what time it is.......................

Messi is the only football player in history to win five FIFA Ballons d’Or, four of which he won consecutively, and the first player to win three European Golden Shoes. With Barcelona he has won eight La Liga titles and four UEFA Champions League titles, as well as four Copas del Rey. Both a prolific goalscorer and a creative playmaker, Messi holds the records for most goals scored in La Liga, a La Liga season, a football season and a calendar year, as well as those for most assists made in La Liga and the Copa América.

Find we're having a quiet transfer window. On paper this squad looks like it can't get too much better but...
