For the 16 - 18th i'll be down Guaya. Past the sea wall :wink: Hardcore whats your timin, would love to get a boat in the water closer to the reef...

Yo! Timing does be good on weekends boi! Made a spin recently but we reach late so we couldn't go to see and mark the bank! Water was a lil choppy!! But It have real fish there!! My cuz knows where the reef is!

Beach fishing from here is sometime-ish but further toward the bank see's some good action.

Hey guys, looking for a contact to fishing mayaro or manzan. Will supply equipment, just need boatman and probably bait. For about 8 ppl and looking @ the Saturday the 31st.

Same here! When I set out a big rod I does fish for them for fun too! But I like to fish them on a nice small baby rod so it does be real action!!!

I does use ah small piece of line bout 15ft...lol but i does also fish dem on lures...does real jump an ting...i hold ah real beast last time i was tarpon fishin...didnt hav ab cam though...

Plenty guys does try to ketch only big fish but real anglers does enjoy ketch even d smallest fish...i cud go any evening an ketch small snook, tarpon an whatever it have out there...is just the sport i like...

i remember about 10yrs ago, helping the ppl in mayaro pull seine
they gave us a huge one!
that tasted awesome, fried with pepper sauce

whats the way to catch them?

Any topwater lures and bait...they basically find it...u shud hav tooth proof too...use a small hook and bait...u need to let dem hook themselves wit the bait...

They hard to hook well though because of their mouth designs, amazing how old methods still work wonders, the guys in the solomon islands gather spiderwebs and bunch it up to make a lure and dangle it on a kite in their canoes..(kinda like kite live baiting yellowfin ) and their teeth just tangles in the webbing and.... ez pz.
Talking bout old techniques, anyone know where i can get cast net leads? Currently hand tying a 1" mesh mullet net with green seine twine.
