Really happy Kimi got to keep his seat for one more year. Lets see how he performs this weekend... they dont call him the King of Spa for nothing.

New clutch start from this weekend. I would like to see how the merc boys handle it given their recent poor starts at Silverstone and the Hungaroring. The start is going to be even more unpredictable.

Good 2 races and it was good to see Vettel taking it to the Mercs.

I think Ferrari now has the pace to give Merc and run.

Redbull: You have the pace to catch Vettel

2 laps later, hammer down and Vettel is gone.

This is what I like to hear. Real team work. I hope Seb is willing to reciprocate if the scenarios are reversed.

Anybody watching? Alonso trying to get himself fired lol. Can't blame him though, McLaren - Honda in shambles.

Yeh... Man say they looking like GP2 team... 'Its embarrassing "... He is right though... They very uncompetitive.

Some nice scraps with Verstappen and Kvyat throughout the race. I especially like when Ericsson let Kimi thru and Verstappen blaze thru one time.

Kvyat needs to watch out or me might get bumped down... If Redbull gets a good engine next year.

Hamilton secures the title for the second year running.

Mexico this weekend. Should be a good race with all those high speed straights.

I had to laugh at Nico pouting like a spoilt brat on the podium. Vettel was just pure class the way he congratulated Hamilton.

Missed the race. Sounds like it was a good one. Both Ferrari's crashing out. Alonso out on lap one and telling SKYF1 he's headed for the airport.

Honda still cant get it right.

No, it was quite boring actually. I can't wait for the final race of the MotoGP season, not that series is exciting to watch.

It was kinda funny seeing vettel lose control in the same corner twice. Perez also gave a little extra seeing it is his home grand prix

^ ^ ^ Another boring race. IMHO "stage managed" by Toto Wolf for Mercedes AMG to clinch P1 & P2 in Drivers' Championships, as well as the Manufacturer's Championships.
After ignoring team orders earlier in the season, all of a sudden Hamilton has to "toe the line" today?... REALLY? Image

Image bet on a "Hamilton win" in Abu Dhabi.

Ever since Lewis' tire pressure incident after Monza, he hasn't been on pole. Vettel 1x and Rosberg 5x.

Just something to think about.

Lets hope this is a good year in F1. Last year kind of fizzled out at the end.

Renault has bought lotus and Crastor is gone so less to see with respect to accidents.

The new exhaust regs may increase the noise... may.

http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/2016/02/n ... omplaints/

By end of the weekend most cars would have been released for the upcoming testing in Spain.

Honda says their engine is almost as powerful as Merc... Ferrari says the same... lets hope someone can take it to the silver arrows this year.

BTW what happens after the 1st 5 minutes :?: ... Image ... Image ...

They have almost a month since that report. Let's hope they can work out the bugs. I really want to see a competition of teams this year.

2016 F1 tire rules much more complex than previous seasons.

Worth a watch so you won't be confused come race weekend next month in Melbourne.

I foresee the pundits spending a 10 minutes every race weekend trying to explain to new viewers how the new tire regs are.

That's as clear as MUD!... & totally unnecessary IMHO.

BTW what's the penalty if a team get their tyre selection wrong?... Disqualification?

I think u get disqualified for the race if you stay out for more than 2 laps on mixed tires or end up not using all the types.

The Haas looks nice as well. They had almost 2 years going to that car. Let's see where they place.

It's trying to fix some of the issues imo.

Current issue: Lower end teams that reach Q3 (Lotus, Toro Rosso, Force India etc) sometimes don't bother leaving the garage and depend on their Q2 time. They know they can't compete with the Mercs/Ferrari/Red Bull so they choose to conserve a set of tires for Sunday.

Fix: Allocate a set for Q3 only so that they have no excuse not to go out.
