Dude the greed started with the businessmen in trini not workers. Workers work and pay taxes, businessmen enslave workers and pay very little taxes.

What? Yeah we got some unfair businessmen out here but you can't use that to justify lazy workers not doing their jobs, if your "boss" was unfair. Then you should just leave, but that ain't the case here.

How do you justify a lazy worker?

Anytime employees cannot identify with a company's goals, there will be this friction between them.

Any money Petrotrin make should go to pay off their billion dollar debt. This way would make no profits and these greedy workers would not get one cent bonus money.

Unipet on Union Road Marabella is out of Super and Premium, they had to close early. Diesel was going fast, the line was about 7 cars long, that was around 1pm today. The panic buying has begun

To me it seems anytime an iniative is announced for a gov't owned entity, the unions jump up and protest under the banner of "job insecurity".
Look at FCB, the IPO of 49% of their shares will be to the benefit of all local investors and FCB employees, but yet BIGWU is protesting against it.
Similarly here, it would appear that this move would mean more ships passing thru our waters to purchase fuel. Since all the fuel being sold offshore has to be bought from Petrotrin, then it should also mean more revenues for them; more profits and a greater chance of workers getting bonuses.
So why protest this?

fleck, sunshine does cause cancer, red meat does cause cancer, smoke does cause cancer, preservatives does cause cancer, my own body cells does cause cancer.
i will live my whole life protecting against cancer from arbitrary sources and then dead from heart attack.

fear is not my motivator.
