A 20-year-old man was robbed of a bush cutter by two men while cutting grass in Talparo on Friday 14th April 2023.

Uncutt News was told that the victim, who lives at Blanchisseuse Road in Arima, was cutting grass at Phills Trace, Talparo around 1:15 pm, when two men approached him.

One of the suspects pulled out a gun and announced a robbery. The victim was relieved of a Honda Brushcutter by both suspects who fled the scene on foot through a bushy area.

As the suspects fled the scene through the bushes, three shots were fired but no one was injured, Uncutt News understands.

A report was subsequently made to the police and PC Graham of the La Horquetta CID was detailed to probe the matter.

Suspect # 1. African descent, slim built, 5’7 in height, dark brown in complexion;

Suspect # 2. African descent, slim built, Light brown in complexion 5’6 in height.

As long as we can’t talk about the fact that 100% of these violent invasion type crimes are committed by persons of African descent we will never fix crime.

I wouldn’t say 100%. Having to do countless CCTV playbacks for clients and the police, there’s some Indians involved, Mixed (Dougla), some light skin (red people and as of recent (past 3-4 years) South and Central Americans. Alot of dark skinned South and Central Americans pass for dougla here. What I can say is that the trigger happy ones are definitely of the African descent. The sheit I see is horrendous and that’s why almost everyone is a potential suspect.
