Meccalli, i was also in Patos from 6am place was real calm n nice, that facking current was tough doh 32oz n still wasnt enough wee. All in all was a good day, 2 nice shark n lots of salmon

there were three boats down there...


two with TEE top which one of were ours.. and the open blue n white pirouge with a 75.


yes the water was calm but coming down to 2pm it started to get a bit windy. our largest catch was a 8lb yellow croaker.

avg size is 2lb salmon....

Ryan dat catch was from banking? My partner went patos yesterday and caught salmon, shark, cro cro, catfish and some big ancho.

Kingfish was caught trolling ballyhoo and d redfish was caught banking on coordinates...

dem scrap iron men hogging that scene and real rowdy cause dey bringing in iron from wrecks there...

Went Down there a couple of weeks ago, just stopped to buy bait an saw the jetty. Decided to give it a try... Nothing big really but some nice almost constant fun... Not really sure how safe it is.. i was there from about 11am to 6pm on a friday.

I ketch plenty fish using shrimp...dey dont hav that across there...u can try live herring or any type of baitfish u can ketch around the jetties...plenty of nice snappers, snook an cudas around those jetties...u cud also try behind the airport at night and early morning...if fishing at night, try some bug chunks of bonito/tuna with wired lines...u cud also try all along mt irvine shoreline at night, have tarpon and sharks passing tru at night...gd luck...

There is a jetty in speyside that bait come really close to and you get some nice action. You can fish dead bait but better bet is artificial!
When went there last time to fish on a boat when we were coming in to the jetty some lil youths were there spinning artificial and were catching some really nice cavali.

WENT TO A NEW SPOT TO FISH AND DISCOVERED .. a "ritual site" I assume, with my fass self picked up a couple stuff, ... morning period ... we were overnighting ....SOBER ..... SEE 2 WHITE Silhouettes OF HUMAN FIGURES{smoke colour } BOUT 8 PM PASSING ABOUT 10 FEET AWAY coming FROM THE SITE ON THE SHORE ...THE SHADOWS WERE NOT WALKING THEY WERE gliding went straight past us down the shore ... ME AND PALS SCARED SHITLESS WE STOOD still one of the silhouettes passed through a rod stand all fishing stopped no one said a word .. we gave signals to rack up and leave !

oh btw i think we got a strike from a very huge shark 300lb test line , wire, caster , beef... did not land , line snapped caster was tied to a tree, recovered bout 75 ft of line ...

D beach on the southern coast supposed to be really good during rainy season for big cavalli, fishing with livebait.

plenty lippe salmon, cavali and CATFISH


go on the community centre side...and when u on the beach facing the water... walk down to the left had side untill the rocks.


best time to fish is in the rising tide with shrimp and sardine.
