OK figured it out. The Simplink wasn't activated on the TV. Everything is fine now though HDMI

Question. Who can advise me accordingly. Bought an incorrect screen size. Supposed to be 16*9 but it's not so Ive decided to build my own screen. Looking out for good material to use. Any suggestions? Went to some cloths stores and they recommend canvas material. Image

Samaroo's has a high quality white spandex for $65 per yard iirc, a layer of that over black can work. I built by own screen but used black out cloth from Carl's Place online. The spandex may be the best bet locally. What size screen you looking to make? The spandex is 60" width I think but will stretch more than double.

Doesn't really matter, post what you have.. just infatuated with the audio and video quality of it.

Looking for a universal remote as well.. already fedup of 3 remotes (direct TV, LG and Yamaha 7790).

Eyeing The harmony 650. Using my xbox one as the media centre to watch some downloaded br remuxes movies through a hard drive and also Netflix etc. Can the 650 ff, rw, menu movies played through the xbone?

Used those before, still have a good bit of it left. Used it for inside a dresser and some other places. Real simple and easy to extend, just the soldering of two wire.

Looking at some HDTVs in Pricesmart, and considering a Sony.

I know if a Samsung is bought there, I can turn to Luxsam for repairs should anything go wrong with it (not sure if they would honor the warranty though).

However, is there anywhere locally I can turn to should any issues arise with a Sony smart TV bought at Pricesmart?

Any downsides to the Sony TVs? Reviews seem fairly decent online.

Id stay away from buying tvs at pricesmart. I know of alot of ppl, my dad included, whose tv gave up on them after about two years. Sony especially was a culprit as the repair guy my dad took his tv by told him that the sonys from pricesmart all gave the same type of issues and didnt make sense to fix due to cost. Id look elsewhere for a new tv.

There is a Guy in Gasparillo who is a certified LCD, LED service Technician. He just repaired my Dad 55" LG at a very reasonable cost. He is Courts senior repair Tech and can be contacted via 4667840 Nick Khan.
