after reading jokers post.. i decided to make a trip to Mon diablo on sunday morning.. first time there... Fisherman said to walkin to the rocks to the right of the slipway.. Did so sparingly considering the sharks from jokers post... Used shrimp and joshua but not much luck.. got 3 bites total.. caught one small pampino.. however inbetween casting etc.. while keeping a sharp eye out for any fishy activity.. (ie: dorsal fins approaching) about 200' right of the rocks.. seemingly rocky area below.. i saw a fish about 2.5' long x 1' wide fly clear out the water against the very strong current.. dont know if was chasing or being chased, looked something like a lippe or grouper. . couldnt make it out. Only managed to get about 1.5hrs fishing with the tide.

Dunno if anyone can shed a little more light on when to fish this area.. seems as though later evening and tide from flat rising might be more successful..

anyway here's a couple of pics from previous trips

Wit alld rain these days u really aint gettin much bite dere. Until d water clearup mightn get no sharks. Best time is a late evening rising tide untill tide is full.

Everyday is for fishing, but not everyday is for catching.

Looks like some people getting more action than me!! I went DDI this whole weekend.. Hit some Salmon and raccano banks. Notting.

Fish just didnt bite that side this weekend.

Did manage to snag a few reds and pag. We also manage to hold a grouper..

No monsters and quantity like i'm accustomed to there!!

Blanchi for 4 days, fishiing from the shore..

Shrimp, bonito, live small mullet as bait.. nothing ..only frigging stingray.

Would make an overnight monas tom or friday, see how things look.
