Last night I encountered one of the top contenders for The T&T's Most Ignorant Family Award. These ignorant people truly believed that the roadway and pavement is their private property!

I feel sorry for these confused people. They should read the newspaper or watch the news next time.

Not yet... awaiting my application to be processed.

But on a serious note, I was by a friend in Dow Village and these foolish people were setting off their fireworks and 'loud bombs' in the road and on the pavement without care or concern. A piece of shrapnel hit my wife (she was not injured). My friend went and spoke to them and that is when I pulled out my camera and the 'fun' began!

Dow Village was really loud last night.
The kids were overdoing it with the scratch bombs.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but tonight is the night of the new moon, and it is known that divali is held the night Before the new moon... The night before the new moon is always the darkest night of the year, so that's when I know divali is held

Never on the new moon itself.... So I held my celebrations last night

It's not strange for Hindus to light up the day after Divali.
