That crash into a padna of mine garage on the chase village main road. Take out a wall and gate and damage about 7 vehicles in the garage. Driver in critical condition. Happen last week sunday i think
If the driver name not on the insurance I can guarantee you that the insurance company not paying. Remember they in the business to make money not help people out.Redman wrote:The vehicle owner or his insurance co HAS to be liable.
No one else took on the responsibility.
True. At 19 he is an adult and driving while uninsured. He will most likely be liable assuming his name wasn't on the insurance.Redman wrote:Well it's his to eat.
Liability.....has to reside somewhere.
Liability is separate to ABILITY to pay.

It caught fire.Les Bain wrote:Westbound a little past Trincity lights around 6:35 this morning. No pics though.

I think the garage could sue the owner of the vehicle . there is some clause about that in the insurance for coverage of up to 2 million or 4 million cannot remember

These things never end well. Know a woman whose husband died in a a major accident 10-12 years ago (there were several other fatalities as well as some very serious injuries). The two insurances never came to an agreement upon damages and the other parties in that accident initiated legal action against the woman's husband estate and to this day she has no access to any inheritance (lands, money etc.) as it has been put in lien until the case is resolved.
