That clip doesn't show it from the proper angle to judge. Yes he did go down easily, but Abate did tug his shoulder. What was interesting was that Milan's players, Abate included did not protest vehemently at all.......

Sad to say but that messi injury was inevitable and our over reliance on him, and peps past mistakes of playing him in insignificant games... playing when not 100% and lack of enforcers on the team has led to this.


We have no one... not a single player who injects fear into opponents with tough physicality. So players think it's okay to beat up on messI. Why not? Who on the barca team gonna put a fist through your jaw? So no fear equals opportunity.

I've spoken about this at length before... we need big tough guy defensive players. To give us height and some intimidation factor.
