Agreed. That's how I know that statement is not true.

Most policies cover the same things.......difference are the coverage limits / excesses. In some instances, some benefits are free and some u pay for. Theft, collision, glass damage, flood and perils, passenger liability, medical expenses, property damage ( walls, houses etc ) are supposed to be on all policies.....difference is the benefit limits and costs.

Five letters on the trunk emblem and the diagonal bar on the grille, it's a Kia.

Many people have third party coverage once the car is paid for and it does not necessarily cover fire. You will be surprised how many high end cars are not with comprehensive insurance.

Regardless of if you "feel the speed" or not you have eyes to watch the speedometer and you must notice that you are passing a number of cars depending how fast you were going.

Sad that a young life was lost, as someone mentioned before defensive driving is definitely needed. Also I saw one newspaper saying he was not wearing a seat belt smh. It appears the car has side airbags (or at least it looks that way in the pic) never know may have had a fighting chance if he was wearing it.

Yep... That is why those type of cars offer a programmable audible alert to let you know you have exceeded your selected speed...

If you do not know that piece of road at the end of the highway... There isn't any real run off area if you miss it at speed

@Advent
Those euro cars are built more solid than Japanese cars. Parent is giving their child the highest chance of survival... If this incident involved any other Japanese Sedan... Do you think there would be any survivors.A proper engine is part and parcel with the type of car though.

Yesterday both guardian and express mentioned a passenger who was hospitalized, but today guardian retracted and said he was alone in the car:

"Initial reports stated that Crawford was in the company of a teenager from Westmoorings but forensic pathologist Dr Valery Alexandrov said that he was told that Crawford was the sole occupant of the vehicle that he was driving. "

Maybe the other person's family ask for a cover up :?

i dunno na, plenty of the more reputable GPS companies have systems that let you get an alert or even limit the max speed on a vehicle

if you giving your young kids a fast vehicle to drive, it not hard or that expensive to install something to make sure they dont cross 100/120

they don't need to go anywhere faster than that
