I think I've reached the limit where broscience, wratch diets and home gyms can take me. On the mother of all plateaus.
Granted, my half assed approach still helped me ditch 85 lbs of fatness, but I've been fluctuating on 170 +/- 10lbs over the past 8 months. Not getting the aesthethic I want, altho my upper back is wider and has some definition, my bi/tri are noticeably bigger and I'm getting some chest and shoulder swole. Calves hard. Quads have some size, but not too much def.

THIS FORKING BELLY IS DE ONLY THING THAT KILLING MY MOTIVATION.

Need professional help to get down to 10-12% BF and get some strongman midsection. Sixpack is the stuff of dreams for this fat firetruck.

What's the best for belly fat BTW? Have some coworkers suffering from it.

Too much drinks and food this Xmas though. Only ran two 5km within the last two weeks.

never really paid much attention to this thread, but seeing that is the 1st of the year......
regarding the belly fat issue, I don't believe in spot/ target fat removal. Seems as though belly fat is typically where most people first gain their weight, and is usually the last place they lose it. I believe diet, exercise, and patience is key. I'm sure b18b_turbo, had a fair amount of lag before he hit boost like that

Vexx, u still training at home? If so, your plateau is a result of reduntant workouts, weights, form, and intensity. There are so many ways to increase intensity but at this stage your workouts have to change drastically.

Work big muscles together ---> opposing muscles on the same day and superset opposing muscles when you have the drive for it. I know everyday isnt a day to do such because its insanely taxing. Personally, i let go of moving heavy weight and just focus on intensity, stretch, squeeze and form. The pic may look big but I am not big, its just proportion derived from proper workout methods. Yea yea ppl gona say anabolics, but you can take a zillion anabolics, train normal, and not gain a pound or jus look like toots. So proper training is essential whether natural or not. That is what give the shape of the muscle and the extent of fat loss.

Btw losing 85lbs of fat is way more respectable than gaining 10lbs of muscle. That isnt easy at all, ialways tell people that and commend fat ppl for trying, even people running in the road or on a bicycle from toymart riding in the road, at least its a start which most cease to have to courage to do. I despise ppl who laugh at overweight ppl in the gym.

Anyways, an example of a workout routing would be:

Day 1 - chest+back
Day 2 - rest or cardio
Day 3 - quads + hams
Day 4 - rest or cardio
Day 5 - Back + shoulders (no deadlift today)
Day 6 - squats + chest + bi/tri superset
Day 7 - rest

Day 1 - incline benchpress s/set t-bar rows
Decline bench press s/set cable rows
dips s/set pullups
cable flyes s/set close grip lat pulldowns
dumbell pullovers s/set upright rows

Day 3 - normal leg routine, dont superset might vomit

Day 5 - do a normal back then kill shoulders starting with seated dumbell shrugs

Day 6 - 5 sets of normal squats, 5 sets of front squats then chest then bi/tri superset

no need to focus too much on arms and small muscles if the goal is overall fat loss, thats wasting time, just keep the intensity high with bigger groups and once you can speak without gaspoing for breath, then its time for another set. thats the only language our bodies understand.

what i do these days is something like:

day 1 - chest / back supersets then bicep
day 2 - squats/calves/abs no supersets
day 3 - back/shoulders supersets into drop sets then tricep
day 4 - rest
day 5 - chest/back supersets and rest pause then bicep
day 6 - squats/shoulders drop sets

torniquet yeah i used to live on serious mass and got fat, real stink looking love handles popping out. patience and trial and error on your own body is the only way. i was also totally against performance enhancers but in time your body will let the truth be told. couldnt in any way cross 180 with a 6 pack. only kept gettin fatter with the excess calories and training hard af. so yes, much lag indeed

awright, but you know how it can be juggling training with the demands of a little infant.
I'm lucky to get 3 days/week training, but those 3 days are hard. 30 min cardio + 1 - 1.5 hr weights each day. 30 sec between sets, 3 mins between major exercises to set up stations and grab some h2o

I'll def revisit my training plan and tighten up on my diet again. It's easy to make a cheat day into a cheatweekend and then let it bleed into the week.

thanks for the motivation brah.
