A day before the Israelis arrived in Abu Dhabi, the Emiratis laid out their proposals for the day-after the war in an op-ed by ABZ's special envoy Lana Nusseibeh.

Nusseibeh advocated for deploying a temporary international mission to Gaza. She said this mission would respond to the humanitarian crisis, establish law and order, and lay the groundwork for governance.

The Emirati official separately told the FT on the day of the trilateral meeting in Abu Dhabi that the UAE would be ready to be part of such an international force and would put boots on the ground.

Yes, but: She laid out several key conditions.

The international force would have to enter Gaza at the formal invitation of the Palestinian Authority.

The Palestinian Authority would have to conduct meaningful reforms and be led by a new prime minister who is empowered and independent.

The Israeli government would need to allow the Palestinian Authority to have a role in governing Gaza and agree to a political process based on the two-state solution.

The U.S. would have a leadership role in any "day-after" initiative.
Imagine the Palestinians determining for themselves what they want to do.

No "absurd opinion" in The Hague can deny that Judea and Samaria is the historical Jewish homeland, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.

Well colour me unsurprised that the country that is being cited for being a beacon of international justice despite twice refusing to arrest persons on ICC warrants because it was thier friends needed a court injunction filed by human rights groups to stop sending weapons to an ethnic conflict.
Things are so much different when its not the Jews.

So, in other words, the UN says that almost all of that Palestinian land from before 1947 is now long gone.

How many Palestinians in Israeli military prisons are infants? How many are toddlers?

How many Palestinian prisoners are being held by the Israeli military in a private home in a kibbutz or a city apartment? And against the will of the family that resides there? While the rest of the family is in the next room?

Hmmph. Sometimes tough questions come with easy answers.

How many Israelis were taken with type 1 diabetes, blond hair and between 5'1" and 5'10"?

Tough questions to answer .

The hostages taken in October 7th were for the purpose of exchange for high level hostages in isreali torture chambers . At that time there were 3-4000 Palestinians in custody

Why does Isreal has Palestinian hostages ? For what purpose ?

They need doctors to treat with all the injured to tell u how much losses they sustaining .

They don't want the cases going into the wider population as it would open their eyes to how much failure their systems are.

Hesbolah was able to penetrate Israel surveillance yet again , with ease and posted their largest base.
They were able to tske down the best israeli drones and was able to ward off some fighter jets....don't know how.

Russia has agreed to arm ansar Allah , while meeting with Assad to discuss security .
Asad has also discussed with turkeiye about security as well.

Iraq had some missiles launches at some us bases.

China negotiating leadership structure in Palestine.

Notable: when Israel striked yemen, Saudi Arabia immediately contacted ansar Allah to distance themselves ... Meaning they don't want to be targeted , don't think they can be protected against targeting and don't think they can withstand targeting
Trust in America is waning .

While Ukraine is evaporating , middle east is sizzling

Smells like a diaper-full of panic from Hamas. Hamas can't move unchecked with the civilians when the civilians aren't moving unchecked.

"Hamas - We help to slow down the way Palestinians move in the West Bank and now Gaza."

Image

Israeli negotiators "want a vetting mechanism for civilian populations returning to the north of Gaza, where they fear these populations could support” Hamas fighters who remain entrenched there, said the Western official.

The Palestinian militant group rejected the new Israeli demand, according to the Palestinian and Egyptian sources, however a senior Israeli official said Hamas had not yet seen the latest proposals, which were expected to go out "in the coming hours".

"The messages from Hamas are bizarre because we haven't sent it yet, nobody has read it yet. Even the negotiators haven't got it yet. They will read it before transferring it to Hamas for their reaction," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.

My post has been commented on several times since including a link to a Palestinian in prison article as well as a thinly veiled threat to myself by the emotionally damaged tuners.

I think the forum would be fine if i do not both side a post when I do link to an article. Palestine seems well represented here and Israeli PoVs underrepresnted anyhows
