how they could deny it though?
Like the Guardian just make up the memorandum juss so? They wouldn't have copies? And the audio recordings of the interviews? Ent the memo would be signed and dated? They just stated the facts in the article, they didn't defame anyone. Those lawyers couldn't advise their clients any better?

The Corporate Secretary's monthly salary raise from $22,500 to $40,000 in one shot yes. CEO get a monthly $20k raise + benefits too. WDMC kind of pay structure is that? Check the Guardian link for pics eh.

**awaits the public outcry from the forum's PNM supporters at this corruption**

The easiest money to spend is the one that's not yours. See how quick they are to get pre-action protocol letter? They hope, or perhaps know, that this could tie up in court so they can continue to do as they please with OUR money. JUHN Scarfy, Kazim, or Tight Shirt will say nothing about this, and it will continue unabated.

So, he didn't know that before he took the job? State enterprise isn't private sector as there is ZERO accountability, or focus on results, hence the lower pay. I'm all for proper pay, but in the absence of any metrics, or performance evaluation, take your small money and stay quiet.

That is to make sure the government ministers and opposition (especially the newbies) get their fancy new cars before Imbert rest taxes on the rest of the populations. Them have to fix up themselves first.

What is PNM plan for TT ?

Elections have come and gone and all we hear was next two years will be hard so hold strain and pay your taxes.

Very little was said how they plan to improve TT and creation of Jobs.

More job losses means less income taxes paid.

Where are the PNM tuners to explain this.

If they did what the guardian says....let them take their lix.

BP announced their World wide restructuring In Jan Feb of this year.

See the manifesto for their plans....that’s where all parties communicate their plans.

Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE, theres no way this could be justified that a CEO of a handout program could e entitlted to $65K a month!
Someone or the group responsible for this approval should all be JAILED... print names, and faces of all the individuals involved.

I reading PNM manifestos since 1981 elections and nothing they say has come to pass for the betterment of TT and citizens.

Remember Mega frams?
Remember Wallerfeid cow farms?

All we ever had from PNM was Cepep and that was feeding ground for the few on top

And crime is out of control..... so many people being held with weapons and being given bail, that entire process is the problem....
Innocent hard working people being beaten in their homes, robbed at gunpoint and not a damn thing being done... but when and if people take a stand and start killing these bandits to protect themselves is when poilce and the authorities will come out and say that you cannot take the law into your own hands and then the innocent get jail with NO bail.
Those 6 or 8 that broke into the chinese establishment and one got Chinese national was murdered... they shoudl ALL be given a proper executuion... set an example

To be fair, whether pnm or unc, right now the govt's plan is simply to float above water and delay the impending economic collapse as long as possible. Not to sound pessimistic or negative but our best days are long gone and it would be remiss for any politician to admit same to the public. So if KY Jelly, Preparation H and Vaseline is your kind of thing then go start stocking up. You were warned.

Expecting pnm tuner mouthpieces here to have a valid opinion that is not directed by their overlords would defeat the purpose of them being mouthpiece

Allyuh really believe that CEPEP is a social program?

Since inception it was corrupted and wildly innefficient

2010-2015 we were spending $3 to get $1 to a CEPEP worker.
Now we spending $2.

Below from last year.

So the CEPEP allocation last year was 369 M....
CEPEP has 9000 workers.
They get 90 per day.

If they ALL work thats 810,000 per day.
if they work Mon-Fri evry week-thats about 20 days a month or 240 days per year.

810k*240 is 194.4M
So we are spending 369M in a social program that delivers 194.4 or 53% to the targets of the social program.

Now before any one bring the PNM/UNC tip into this-the allocations in 2013-15 were about 500M

On a PNM radio station i95.5 in Manning Era , a PNM MP said they knew it was not cost effective.

However they had money allocated to temporary unemployed persons, but they just can't give it for free so they had to do some level of work for it.

Well wasa is a pothole.

Workers loosing their wasa jobs means nothing to them, cause they rather eat grass than see progress from a non PNM goverment.

Stupid country filled with stupid pnm people

WASA Lite

Will they be splitting it up like Petrotrin?
Will they be trying to sell it off?
Who are the possible folks that could buy it?
What amount of work is needed to get it working to a proper standard?

Last figure I had back in 2018 was wasa debt position was $5 billion dollars. T&TEC is at $5.6 billion. Experts can chime in and fact check/adjust as necessary.

You can restructure these party hiring organizations that are filled with nepotistic practices and try to finally derive efficiency but cutting the bloated staff. All good and great with these 2 public utility companies. But who is financing the debt?

That is $10.6 billion dollars we must pay off collectively. What about these:

Petrotrin - $13B
UDECOTT - $11.4B
TTMF - $5.5B
NIPDEC - $4.3B
NGC $4.2B
TSTT $2.2B
NIDCO $2.1B

TOTAL: $53.3B

The Chinese will gladly write off that total but what do we exchange for it? It has to be something more lucrative than the pitchlake which they almost already control.
