If the price drop to a $100US so then it may be worth trying out.

I figure it may reach that price point with a rebate near year's end.

some sata II drives will give you stress with a sata 1 port, some of them have a jumper, some of them have to set in the bios and some of them just work, but a SATA III port will work with sata2, sata1,and in some cases even SAS

Need some advice from you fellow techies...

My current system is based on an AMD Athlon X2 5000 Black edition, 4gb ddr2 800 Corsair XMS Ram and an XFX 8800gt...

Gaming has been quite good since I built this system two years ago, but recently I've noticed some skipping in frame rates...in some games like Bad Company 2 , Mafia 2 and SC:Conviction.

Now my question is should I upgrade my RAM to 8gb (another pair Corsair XMS is US$100) or get another 8800gt, get a new graphics card...or should I bite the bullet and upgrade my entire system...(thinking of an building a core i5 750 system)

Thanks.
