it was bound to happen sometime.

our defence today consisted of third string keeper, two midfielders and a newbie in defence. damn....wen will the injuries end!!! we need fletcher back in midfield to create those opportunities.

that string of 7 draws in a row prolly sped up the sacking process.

he did well tho, victories over chelsea/arsenal.

Utd's loss was bound to happen at some time...any sort of injury crisis in one position is unheard of really in international football...its crazy to have 7 defenders out at one time, but that's the situation and results like today's are expected...
Hopefully Neville and Vidic are back for the next game so Utd can actually play with some normalcy...

Surprised it took so long for Hughes to get sacked...good middle-club manager at best...can't deal with big personalities and needs to learn that he can't players because of their name without figuring out how he's playing them in the squad...

Anyway things could be worse...you could be getting your arse handed to you by bottom of the league Portsmouth rather than an in-form Fulham...

ref make lampard take the pen 3 times oui.. i feel the WH players were running into the area deliberately to throw him off, but he netted all three attempts anyhow.

Better than a win...though its no surprise that people arent running in here talking about chelsea being awarded a penalty that was a horrible call...of course if it were Utd, everyone would say they own the referees
