You could just use a heavy wired swivel as a substitute, works just as well.

North coast horrible... To much wind.
West ok.. Choppy but ok.

Pressure for fish out there these days boi.. Heard some trollers made a pass and pick up everything.. So some fisher men told me.

Nah not patos, richie. We went right in the gulf and kinda line up with the first bocas in about 65 feet of water.

Don't really know much bout mayaro shore fishing except dat in the night does have some small sharks close to shore.

Manzan on the other hand, the action now supposed to be picking up, you should start to see cavalli from all now till june once the mullet around in the surf.

Finally made a small trip, just outside the area of the Caroni mouths. No big catch, just some small scale salmon, croakers and some 2-3 lb lane snappers. Some eel and batfish too lol.

Hooked and lost a snook and big barracuda in Tobago from shore, school of big cavalli was around for like a few seconds every morning though. Needed more time to fish properly though.
